Freya competed on Sunday at the All Ireland Schools 2022 in Dublin, representing Moneyrea Primary School.
She won a tough 1st fight with 2 throws after escaping a hold down. She won her 2nd contest with a hold down, after escaping from another hold down. Her final match was won by throwing her opponent for the maximum ippon score to win Gold and become the Irish Schools Champion!

Yr6 had a great time at the Zoo on Friday. We enjoyed our Rainforest talk and met lots of creatures in the Education Centre. All the animals were glad to see us too!
