Erasmus+ Welcome Assembly at Law PS, Lanarkshire, Scotland
The children presented a wonderful celebration of Scots' culture and language in poetry, song and dance.
Of course due reverence was paid to the bard, Robert Burns.

Great turnout tonight, great wine 🍷, great canapés, great quiz, great craic and great music 🎶. We even had an impromptu visit on the dance floor from school mascot, Hugo the Hedgehog 🦔.

Our nursery children really enjoyed a visit from lots of unusual pets this morning!
In Preparation for Penguin Awareness Day on Friday 20th January, Year 3 have been dressing up as penguins in the Antarctic habitat of the Eco Garden.
Yrs 5 and 6 enjoyed a visit from the Dairy Council.
The wonderful Molly taught us about how important it is to keep fit and healthy, exercise regularly and have a balanced diet.
The MPS cross country team headed to Delamont to compete in the Flahavan's Porridge Primary School Cross Country League. 🥶
Both the girls’ and boys’ teams showed grit and determination as they raced against almost 150 runners from the County Down area.
Special mention goes to Sam who finished 10th and Freya in 13th place. Ryan, our youngest member, crossed the line in 29th place. Well done Team Moneyrea 💪
