Our Yr7s have achieved first place in a Province wide competition organised by Young Enterprise NI.
Their video entry topped the poll and is a well deserved recognition of their work as budding entrepreneurs. This is their second award this term.
Their prize is a complete digital classroom experience which they will enjoy next week.
The photos below are of their various management teams for their mini company, ‘Chaingers’. Well done; we are very proud of you all.

In spite of the inclement weather the Moneyrea folk turned out in force to help our Yr7s raise £786 for their chosen charities.
A great night, superbly organised from start to finish. A big shout out goes to all the mums and dads who helped out, to our Yr7s, Mrs Goudy, our staff team, the Fairways team from Granshaw and of course to organiser supreme, Mrs Sullivan.
During the evening our Yr5s sold their recycled Bag Blings and the Tate’s sold amazing painted stones. The hot dogs also went down really well after the 5km run.
Moneyrea strikes again. All for one and one for all.

Some of our pupils purchased cuddly toys after our visit to the Highland Wildlife Park. They were especially thrilled when we noticed that the toys are helping to improve the RIGHTS of children in India and promote equality for girls.
Everyone loves a good cuddly toy, but as a Rights Respecting School, we love these ones even more.
