Clay Club
In clay club we use a range of techniques to create 2D and 3D art work. We have tried coil building, slab work, figurative ceramics as well as textile and print work. Every other week we work on our creations using (locally sourced) Scarva Clay, an air dry clay that is easy to work with and very sturdy when dry. In the alternating weeks we paint and glaze our art work. This year we had made tiled picture frames, animal sculptures, miniature houses for a woodland village, tealight holders and Christmas decorations.
