MONEYREA PTA CHRISTMAS ๐ BALLOT
STAR PRIZE .... A NINTENDO SWITCH .....
With Covid-19 impacting our PTA fundraising activities, this yearโs Christmas ๐ Ballot has taken on even more significance.ย
We already have a great array of prizes with more being added each day.ย
You can help out by sending in ballot prizes and selling and buying ballots.ย
A ballot sheet ๐ซ will be sent home on Tuesday and completed ballot slips must be received by Thursday the 10th December. ย The draw is provisionally set for 11th.
Good luck to everyone and thank you for your continuing support. ย ๐ ๐ผ
We will be celebrating World Children's Day on Friday by dressing up in BLUE CLOTHES, from top to toe.
Blue is the colour of UNICEF (The United Nations Children's Fund) and Rights Respecting Schools.
World Children's Day is a day to celebrate the power of children to change the world.ย
On the 20 November we celebrate World Children's Day, the anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.ย
It's a day for children by children โ a day to imagine a better future for every child.
ANTI-BULLYING WEEK
Watch this brilliant reading of โCarlaโs Sandwichโ, by Debbie Herman. Watch it together, mirror it on your tv. Itโs family time well spent . Then chat about it.

If we are to tackle unwanted behaviours we must begin by learning positive behaviours.ย
In this story we learn that everyone is unique, or different and how we should accept and celebrate our differences.
Itโs really not okay to leave someone out, or pick on someone because they are different! We teach our children to include everyone.
At school and home we try to model the behaviours and values we want our children to espouse.

I really enjoyed this little story and its simple but profound messages.
Thanks to Agnieszka Kowol for sharing it with us.
