  • No Paper Notes Please

    The Association of Commercial Banknote issuers has advised the public to spend or exchange their £5 and £10 paper banknotes by Monday 30th September. We would ask that you Please no longer send in paper £5 or £10 notes to school in payments - thank you.
  • European Day of Languages

    We have a non-uniform day planned for this Thursday to mark EDL. (£1 donation)

    We are asking the children to transform the school into a sea of YELLOW and RED to celebrate our love of SPANISH.

    Spanish football kits and flamenco dresses all welcome.

    As well as enjoying language based activities the children will have opportunity to sample a continental style break.

    This term we are thinking about our values ....

    Those principles that guide our thinking and behaviour and make us better people and better learners.

    We started off with a competition to get the children thinking about the sort of values that should characterise everyone at Moneyrea.

    The children had to list the values they thought were important inside acorn outlines. (Our School emblems are the oak and the acorn)

  • The Moneyrea Marvel

    On Friday morning the school had a special visit from the Moneyrea Marvel! We were also presented with a cheque for £440 and lots of stationery supplies, courtesy of Staedtler.

    Thank you to Moneyrea Old Standard and all those who contributed their fundraising efforts through the Comber TT Soapbox Derby.
