  Carrowmena Day 2

  Yr6 enjoyed another fun filled day! A five kilometre forest walk through Binevenagh Park, an al fresco lunch followed by canoeing and paddle boarding. Football after dinner and now movie night. Busy busy!

  

• Krazy Keyrings

  Yr7 Young Enterprise company Krazy Keyrings held a very successful sales event at break time today in the school hall. The colourful wooden keyrings cost £1 for 12 beads and £1.20 for more than 12 beads. Don’t worry if you forgot today as they will be on sale each break time until Thursday.

• Green and Blue Day

  Today our children came to school dressed in all shades of blue and Green on World Neurofibromatosis Day to support Finlay Hamilton.

  Neurofibromatosis is a serious condition where tumours develop on the nerves. 

  Ironically, the colours associated with the Neurofibromatosis charity are also Moneyrea colours.

  Total raised to be announced tomorrow.

• Year 7 Post-Primary School Place Allocations

  The EA will issue an email to Yr7 parents on Saturday morning on the 21st May to inform them of the outcome of their child's school application.
  
   This will save parents having to log in to the EA portal.
  
   Parents may still log on and see their outcome but hopefully this will not be necessary.
  
   The EA will email Yr7 parents at start of this week to advise them of the school allocation email being sent on 21st.
  
  Please check your junk mail if you haven’t received an email by the end of the week.
  
   An EA Helpdesk will be open between 9am-12pm in case it’s needed 028 9598 5595.
  
  In addition, you may also receive a letter of confirmation your child's new school.
