  SPORTS DAY

  Sports Day today sponsored by Spar, Carryduff (Ewing's)

  10.00am and 1.00pm

  Children to have sun cream applied before coming to school and to bring a cap/hat and water.

  Don't forget to pre-order a hotdog 🌭 for your child.

  Tea, coffee ☕️ and traybakes on sale. Where possible please bring your own reusable mugs.

  After the Junior Sports the children will have lunch with their teachers before going home with their parents around midday.

  McAvoys coach pulled up at Moneyrea PS at 10.30 pm last night to a welcome party of parents and siblings.

  What a great week we enjoyed with this fantastic bunch of children . Their behaviour, kindness, manners and 'can do' attitude made this a memorable trip.

  We received positive comments wherever we visited

  I owe a debt of gratitude to Miss Daly, Mrs Floyd, Mrs McCoy and Robin McAvoy our coach driver for the week. These folk went above and beyond the call of duty to make the trip special.

  Hopefully, all are rested up after the rigours of the week and all set for the last two weeks of school.

  Wow this never ceases to amaze me - the synchronisation between man and dogs - amazing to witness.

  And to make the visit even more memorable we were joined by a very friendly Highland Coo Calf.
