The Ulster Scots Agency Achievement Awards took place tonight at Stormont.
Congratulations to our pupils who received certificates tonight from the former Education Minister, Michele McIlveen MLA.
The children have been learning to play the chanter under the tutelage of Ian Burrows.
What a wonderful achievement 👏🏻
Good to see a couple of former pupils also receiving their certificates.
The children enjoyed taking part in a fun Judo 🥋 demonstration by former Moneyrea pupil, Scott Mayne.
For information about the Judo classes Scott runs in Moneyrea, check out the flier sent home today.

Today in Yr3 we discussed what bullying behaviour is.
We also talked about what good buddying behaviour looks like.
We made an 'Anti-Bullying Hero Charter' to encourage everyone to become a good buddy and help us try to keep bullying behaviour out of our classroom.
Yr1 threw a ball of wool across the circle to tell their classmates just how wonderful they all are!
They created a web of positivity. 👍🏻
🧦 ODD SOCKS 🧦 DAY 🧦
Odd socks remind us we are all different and we need to accept and include everyone.
On Monday 14 November we are asking all of our pupils to come to school wearing ODD SOCKS 🧦
In this simple act we are saying as a school community and as individual pupils and staff that want to create a welcoming, happy school environment where all children are included and valued and bullying behaviour is not welcome.
The children will be talking about bullying during the week and discussing what bullying is, its various forms, its impact and consequences and how it can be stopped.
