To all of our parents as we face the prospect of more classes isolating for short periods of time due to Covid, we need to pull together.
We need to support our families, where the children return positive cases. We need to pray for their full recovery and empathise with parents who worry for their children’s well-being.
As a school family we all need to recognise that we are going through a difficult time. An experience being shared in schools across the province.
It will be uncomfortable for a time, and we will all need to make sacrifices. Isolation is problematic for many families, I understand that, but there is a bigger priority.
I call to mind the advice given during the July heatwave by the RNLI to swimmers who might themselves in trouble. Relax, lie back and float; be calm in the waves. Nothing will be gained by flailing about in the storm. Stay resolute, stay calm, keep up your guard and together we will see this through.
For those of you of faith, please surround our school family with your prayers.
