In line with advice from the Public Health Agency I would ask parents to err on the side of caution in respect of coughs, colds, sore throats, high temperatures etc.

Do not visit vulnerable relatives or friends.
Contact a hospital or 111 or 999 if your condition deteriorates.
We must look after each other and self isolating is one way of helping to minimise the risk of spreading infection.

Unfortunately, in light of the current situation surrounding the Coronavirus we have decided to cancel all after school and lunchtime clubs with immediate effect. We appreciate that this is short notice but hope you will understand.
Breakfast and After School Club will operate as normal.
There will be no swimming class for Yr7 tomorrow.
Teachers will be meeting during the school day to discuss the way ahead and to plan future work etc.
Classes will operate as normal under the supervision of our classroom assistants and a number of substitute teachers.
Hand washing, we continue to promote good handwashing practice but will also have ordinary soap available for pupil and staff use.
Parents are asked not to enter the school premises.
Where an appointment has been made parents and visitors must use the hand sanitiser on entry to the building and on leaving the building.
We are all extremely proud of former Moneyrea pupil, Helen Parker who represented Northern Ireland Ladies U19s at a recent tournament in Turkey.
We look forward to following Helen's football career in the years ahead.
For another year our fantastic dancers have brought home the gold.
This time first place in Creative Movement Teams and first place in Creative Movement Pairs.
So proud of all the hard work put in by the dancers and coach Mrs Best.

World Book Day was celebrated this year with the theme of Science which connects with our School priorities for this year. Children and their parents worked very hard to produce some fabulous scientific characters from history, literature, television and film.
The Nursery children are learning about fairy tales so they came to school as fairy tale characters or characters from nursery rhymes.
The best characters in each class won an Easter Egg to start their Easter Egg collection.
