P1 pupils have been very busy developing their engineering skills.
They decided to build a bus to take them wherever they want to go. Move over Wright Bus, the competition is coming!
Dancers from Moneyrea Primary travelled with Miss Finlay at the weekend to the Northern Ireland Creative Movement and Aerobic Championships.
The competition was intense with lots of talent on show. There was success for Moneyrea on three fronts. The first winners for Moneyrea were the Year 3 dancers, Up Up and Away who performed to music from the Disney Pixar Movie, Up. This was followed by a win for the Senior Dance Team, the Bellas, made up from Year 4 to Year 7 pupils performing to music from the Movie, Pitch Perfect. Finally the Year 7 Duet were winners performing to Rag'n'Bone man's, Human.
Congratulations to everyone. Thanks must go to Miss Finlay and all the pupils for their hard work and dedication - Well done!
