Moneyrea serves the village of Moneyreagh and surrounding areas including: Ballygowan, Carryduff, Crossnacreevy, Ryan Park and further afield.

We are a ‘family school’, where we 'learn together and care for one another’. Our dedicated staff provide a challenging curriculum with particular emphasis on the key learning areas of: Literacy, Numeracy, PE and Sport, The Arts, The World Around Us, PDMU and Information Technology.

Moneyrea is a happy, vibrant school, where we encourage our pupils reach their potential.

Children are at the heart of Moneyrea and a caring ethos pervades all that we do. We work hard to ensure that our pupils feel good about themselves, and attach great importance to their personal and social development. We encourage them to build positive relationships with their peers and to be courteous, considerate and sensitive to the feelings of others.
