Y4 trip to the Northern Ireland War Museum
As part of their project on WWII our Yr4s enjoyed a visit to the N.I. War Museum in Belfast.
They watched a presentation about life on the Home Front in Northern Ireland during WWII.
The children then took part in a quiz trail finding answers as they moved around the museum π¬π§ πΊπΈ .
They also tried on military jackets π§₯ and helmets πͺ and discussed rationing and looked at the items in an evacuee's suitcase π§³
Thanks to Ruth for being a fantastic host today and our children for being excellent ambassadors for MPS.
They looked fantastic dressed in their 1940s fashion complete with boxes for their gas masks and evacuee labels π·
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
