School Council Elected
Elections for School Council were held in late September in our school assembly hall. The Year 7s organised a secret ballot using voting slips, polling booths and a ballot box, borrowed from the Electoral Office. Following the election, the successful candidates were declared elected at our Friday assembly and each received a special School Council Badge.
School Council meets once a month, on a Friday, under the guidance of Mrs Sullivan and Miss Anderson. Council will be discussing topics of concern to our pupils ranging from school meals to environmental issues and a host of other topics between. We look forward to a successful inaugural year and wish our Pupil Reps every success in their new role.
