    Another brilliant day in Carowmena! 

    The sun was shining as we enjoyed an epic Viking longboat challenge. 

    We completed the climbing wall, zip lined and played some team building games. 

    Play park, football, rugby and crafts tonight and hopefully some sleep! 😴🥱

    Our brave Yr5s making a big splash  💦 at East Coast Adventure.

    Yr5 had a blast paddle boarding and banana boating this afternoon. We finished off with a spot of pier jumping for the dare devils amongst us! 

    We’re heading off now for our evening walk in Kilbroney Forest Park 🌳 😎

  • Yr 6 Day 1 at Carrowmena

    Yr6 had a brilliant first day at Carrowmena Activity Centre.

    We enjoyed archery, abseiling, orienteering and a mini Olympics. Everyone is having a brilliant time so far and are still very excited.

    I’m sure we will have an early night in anticipation of tomorrow’s activities

    Yr7's expedition into Belfast culminated in a leisurely cycle down the Lagan.

    Congratulations to Sami on his adventure story ✍️ being 'Commended' in the 11yrs and Under category in the Wilbur & Niso Smith Foundation creative writing competition.

    This was an international competition, with 900 entries from 65 countries.  Bravo 🙌

    You will receive notification of the outcome of your child’s Post Primary application on Saturday 18 May.

    If you applied online or provided an email address on your paper application, you will receive an email from EA. Paper applicants who did not provide an email address, will receive a letter to their home address.

    Parents who have a child with a Statement of Special Educational Needs awaiting placement will be updated by their SEN link officer or school when a placement has been secured. This process may take a little longer in order to find the best placement for your child’s needs.

    ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL

    We were delighted to receive a certificate from the Royal British Legion for our collection on behalf of the Poppy Appeal.

    Pictured with two Moneyrea pupils is Tommy Hinds from the Wandsworth and Ormeau branch of the RBL.

    Mary McIlveen MLA, Kathy Hinds and Councillor John Laverty BEM were also in attendance.
