Moneyrea serves the village of Moneyreagh and surrounding areas including: Ballygowan, Carryduff, Crossnacreevy, Ryan Park and further afield.

As a school community, we extend our deepest condolences to the Barnes family circle on the sudden passing of Basil. I know that our school family will rally around Charlene, Samuel and Jacob in the days ahead. We share in their unimaginable sadness and assure them of our love and prayers at this difficult time. The Yr4 children enjoyed watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as part of their topic, and they enjoyed drinking hot chocolate with mallows and cream!

PLACES AVAILABLE IN NURSERY and YEAR 1 NURSERY CRITERIA IN A NUTSHELL 1. Socially disadvantaged circumstances. 2. Sibling currently enrolled in Moneyrea Nursery Unit or Moneyrea Primary School (Yrs 1 – 7). 3. Other Children. 4. Children who live closest to the school by public road. 5. If children live equidistant from the school, selection will be based on the initial letters of surnames arranged against a randomised list of letters.
