Our cross country team travelled to Dunleath Park in Downpatrick this morning to compete in the second round of the Flahavans'Cross Country League. 

The boys and girls ran so well, even with the slippery ground and messy conditions, they all showed great sportsmanship, supporting one another from start to finish.

Safe to say that they have definitely earned a good scrub tonight.
The best reward of all came afterwards, a well-deserved McFlurry, enjoyed as they compared muddy legs and shared stories from the race. 
It was the perfect ending to a challenging but brilliant day. 
They made us so proud!
