Christmas is an important time in our school calendar as we celebrate the birth of Jesus 🌟. 

It is also an important time for our charity and PTA fundraising activities. 

This December is jampacked ….

Monday 1 December

Santa 🤶 Mile ~ Monday 1 December  

We are asking the children to come to school dressed in Christmas jumpers, or as Santa, elves, angels, reindeer 🦌 , camels 🐫 or anything Christmassy. At 9.15am the whole school (Inc. Nursery) will complete a daily mile (walk or jog) around the grounds of the Community Centre. Parents and family are welcome to join us in this festive challenge.  £1 donation to Action Cancer. 

WE NEED YOUR HELP ....

We would ask parents if they can help us in any of the following ways:

• Ballot Prizes for our PTA Christmas Draw

• Christmas hamper items for our PTA Christmas Draw

• Colour-themed items for Children’s Christmas Hampers.

Nursery : blue items Yr1 : white items  Yr2 : red items 
Yr3 : green items             Yr4 : yellow Yr5 : orange 
Yr6 : purple         Yr7 : blue items

• Pre-loved toys, games, jigsaws, and children’s books.

Must be in very good condition – these items will be available for purchase on the morning of the sale from 10.00am in the foyer of the Community Centre 

PTA CHRISTMAS SALE 

Our Christmas Sale is a very popular event and will take place on Thursday 4 @ 2.00pm in Moneyreagh Community Centre.

For the Christmas Sale we are asking each class to contribute the following items:

• Nursery         5 chocolate items 🍫
• Years 1 – 3    5 wrapped gifts, (Boy or Girl) for lucky dip 
• Year 4            New Christmas tree decorations etc
• Years 5 & 6   Bottles
• Year 7            Christmas food & Fayre 

Please send items for the sale into school by Wednesday 3 December at the latest. 

We also need donations of home baking, traybakes, cakes, mince pies and Christmas Fayre etc.

Set up for the Fair begins at 9.00am. If you can help, please contact Ashleigh (07799625111) or Debbie (02890 448 443). 

Please note: school finishes at 1.55pm on the Thursday 4 December We hope Santa will arrive at 2.00pm 

There will be opportunity for the children to visit Santa and to have their face and nails painted, tattoos etc. Santa’s Grotto 🎅will be upstairs, and tea and coffee will be available in the conference room downstairs.

Visits to Santa 🎅 (£5/child) must be pre-booked using the attached slip and returned to school by Friday 29 November with payment. This price includes visit to Santa’s 🎅🏼Grotto, photograph, and selection box.

After School Club is available in school. Permission must be received for ASC leaders to take ASC children to the Christmas Fair.

END OF TERM 
School finishes for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19 December at 12 noon. School reopens on Monday 5 January.

OPEN NIGHT 
Our Nursery and Primary Open Night is on Wednesday 7 January from 7.00pm – 9.00pm
