Year 6

Home Learning

As a result of school closure, parents will be able to access work from the "Home Learning" section of this page for the children to do at home. The work on the website, in the April folder, will be ready to use after the Easter Holidays. Please be aware that  work will be ongoing on subsequent months and that adjustments will be made until the beginning of each month.

Spellings and home learning facts will be uploaded weekly, alongside worksheets and PowerPoints for Literacy & Numeracy. Ideas for Topic work will also be provided. Useful links and apps will be included as appropriate.

Packs already sent home are to be started as soon as school finishes. This includes the Easter booklet and a transfer paper per week. Please note that not all topics have been taught at this stage and further learning will be addressed through this platform. Please continue to use English Information File and Maths Information File 1 & 2 to support regular learning of facts. Heinemann Maths Workbooks have also been sent home and are to support mathematics topics as they are covered.

In addition weekly challenges will be set in Literacy and Numeracy, report projects and some fun activities too.
