Year 7 Whirlwind Trip around Belfast

P7 went on their whirlwind school trip around Belfast. First stop was the Titanic Quarter to have a tour of all the local landmarks hosted by Terry Madill from the Titanic Schools Project. The children got to meet engineers from FARRANS, a walking tour of the harbour and the Thompson dock, finishing with the Titanic memorial garden at City Hall where we met the high sheriff Michael Long.

Next was an all important stop at McDonalds before hitting the Prison Island escape rooms at Boucher. The pupils enjoyed a frenzied 90 minute session exploring the puzzles of the 25 rooms.

Final stop was Barnet’s Park. A great day was had by all. All home exhausted but happy.
