VE Day 75 - Saluting the Heroic Generation of WWII

Thanks to Mark for raising the Union flag at school today to salute the generation of our grandparents and great-grandparents who gave so much through the dark years of WWII.

I took a little walk around the school grounds, and while the garden is overgrown with weeds, there was much in the blooming flowers to remind us to look with confidence to happier days ahead.
