Safer Internet Day is just over 2 weeks away!...

As always we will be taking part, engaging in a range of activities across the school. BUT online safety isn't a conversation reserved for one day a year. We are part of Gooseberry Planet - a scheme that works throughout the year to educate our children about being good, and safe, digital citizens.

For the next 2 weeks, in the run up to Safer Internet Day, we will be posting a range of guides to help the parents and friends of our pupils get to grips with life online.

We very much believe that the internet is a wonderful tool and technology brings so many advantages for our children. Our goal is not to prevent children from engaging, but to show them how to do this safely and what to do if/when they encounter a problem.

The first of our guides is for a popular social video app. Many of our Key Stage 2 parents may be familiar with the name Tik Tok, but what else should you know?
