This is what happened at my house today! We found a tired, wet and hungry bee. At first it wasn't moving but was then very happy to crawl slowly onto my finger. Next we made a sugary water drink for it. It drank and drank so we took it outside and let it fly away! If you find a bee that is sick in your garden, sometimes it happens if it's cold or has just been raining, maybe you could ask an adult if you can help. Don't let it crawl onto your finger.....maybe an adult could do that part for you! All it needs then is warmed up inside, or in the sun, and a bit of sugary water. It was a real treat for us today to be able to rescue a bee!
Welcome to June, can't believe we're here already! Can I just thank all those hard-working P3 home-teachers out there?! You have been working so hard! Thank you for keeping in touch and sending emails, photos and pieces of work, it's lovely to see what they've all been up to. If you haven't yet, and if you have time, please drop me an email and let me know how you and your P3 are getting on.
Please remember that I am posting a lot of work! Only do a quantity of work that is reasonable and manageable for you and your P3. We are not in school (much as we'd like to be!) and what is achievable at home is often a far cry from the typical weekly school workload!
