Who can help in school?

Mrs Pearson and Mrs Floyd can assist parents or children with any queries or concerns about E-Safety. Mrs Pearson is there to help if you have any questions about technology or how to stay safe digitally. Mrs Floyd is there to help if someone is upsetting you or making you feel unsafe.

Who can help online?

The NCA’s CEOP Command is here to help children and young people. They are there to help if you are a young person and you or your friend (up to age 18) has been forced or tricked into taking part in inappropriate activity with anyone online, or in the real world. They also have advice and links to support for other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying and hacking. The police's Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) website which has been designed and written specifically for children, young people, teachers, parents and carers. A fantastic site with a huge number of games, videos, information and resources for people of all ages.

The UK Safer Internet Centre, organisers of Safer Internet Day, where you can find online safety tips, advice and resources to help children and young people stay safe online.

A not-for-profit organisation that has a simple purpose – to help keep children safe in the digital world. Their latest research shows that over 70%  of parents want to learn more about how to keep their children safe online and potential issues they will face in the future. They are backed by some the UK’s prominent internet industries: BT, Sky, TalkTalk, Facebook, EE, Google, BBC and Virgin Media, and offer advice and information on tackling e-safety issues.

Kidsmart is an award winning internet safety website for parents and those working with children. It has been developed by the children's internet charity Childnet International and has excellent information on many of the technologies used by children, with guidance on how to ‘stay safe’ online.

One in five young people have experienced bullying by text message or via email. This web site gives advice for children and parents on bullying.

Vodafone have developed this website in conjunction with mumsnet. It is very accessible and provides information and guidance to parents with understanding their child’s digital world and get more involved. There is even an online test to see how much you know!
