Mrs Donnell Retires

Our much-loved and respected colleague Mrs Diane Donnell will retire from her post as Yr1 classroom assistant this Friday, the 1st March 2019.

Diane has decided to retire following her 60th birthday and 14 years
of dedicated and faithful service to the children of Moneyrea. During that time Diane has been an exemplary employee; caring, reliable, positive and always good at keeping confidences.

Over the years Diane has given freely of her time to support the choir and school band during rehearsals and performances, has played for students taking music exams, covered lunch time duties during staff absences and played her part at PTA events, including an outstanding performance as Benny from ABBA (We were robbed, John Ellis!).

In addition, Diane has been a great and loyal friend to all of the staff. In short, we will greatly miss her on ‘Team Moneyrea’ and wish every concievable blessing in her life after retirement and future treks with hubby, Raymond!

If parents or former pupils wish to contribute towards Diane's retirement gift please forward your donation to the school office. Thank you.
