Au Revoir

Au Revoir ...

At 6.30am this morning We said goodbye to our friends from Greece, Poland, Italy and Spain after a full week of activities around our twin themes of Entrepreneurship and Rights Respecting Schools.

The week was a fantastic success in spite of not so great Nor’n Irish weather.

I owe a debt of gratitude to our parents and staff who hosted our 13 visiting pupils; they did a sterling job.

We are also grateful to the folk at Granshaw Church for their support in hosting pupils, providing lifts, providing lunch and welcoming the children to a quiz, to church and to a games night.

I must also thank the Mayors of Belfast and Lisburn & Castlereagh for their support in welcoming our guests.

And of course ... our fantastic (Award winning) staff who supported the project week across a range of cultural events and visits.

Finally, I must thank our Yr7 teachers for their work in hosting the visiting pupils in the Yr7 class. In particular I must acknowledge Mrs Goudy for her amazing work with the visiting pupils and our Yr7s in producing Rights based board games.
