👏🏻👏🏻OH WHAT A NIGHT 👏🏻👏🏻

Moneyrea PTA's first Culture Night was an amazing success. 

We had families representing, India 🇮🇳, Jordan 🇯🇴, Brazil 🇧🇷, Holland 🇳🇱, Ukraine 🇺🇦, Barbados 🇧🇧, Poland 🇵🇱, Colombia 🇨🇴, Northern Ireland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪, and Canada 🇨🇦.

We sampled some outstanding dishes from around the world 🌍 and found out some amazing facts about each country. 

Add to that, demonstrations of Highland Dancing , Highland pipes and drums, Jordanian and Indian dancing and a wee boogie from Barbados. We were regally entertained. Oh and not to forget the henna tattoos and rock painting. It was simply fantastic.

Thank you to all our families and staff who shared their cultures with us tonight and to Ruba who coordinated the event and our PTA team. We are all part of our Moneyrea family.

We are very grateful to  Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council for sponsoring this event and to Marlene Dodds for her help with setting up.
